LARRY JOE WRIGHT
Larry Joe was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Texas. God had a plan from the very beginning for his life, but he wasn’t listening. In the late 50’s he recorded his first Rock And Roll LP with Tommy Hudson and The Savoy’s. In the mid 60’s he recorded a couple of Country LP’s. Still trying to find his plan, not Gods. He has recorded eight Gospel Albums and produced an album by the Free Spirit Band which featured his son Joe.
“Diamonds and Gold” was Larry Joe’s first gospel album recorded in 1969. In 1970 he, Linda and their two children Joe and Stephanie were on the road full time traveling singing for Jesus. By 1972 Dustin arrived and they continue going from coast to coast spreading the good news! Larry Joe had finally found the plan God had all along for him.
Life Unlimited Ministry part of Larry Joe Wright Ministries was born in 1984. For two years Larry Joe and Linda held monthly meetings at the Hollywood Sheraton Hotel for people in the movie industry. These meetings were very successful and many people had life changing experiences. One couple who attended now pastor a very successful church in the San Fernando Valley. In the early 1990’s Larry Joe worked on several movies, one very successful one called “Hook”. This was a time of fun and sharing Jesus with those whom he came in contact with.
Larry Joe had a tremendous change take place in his life and ministry in January 1993. He met Kenneth and Gloria Copeland at a Home Depot Store. This was a divine intervention. A new chapter of the ministry was beginning. He continued to travel sharing the love of Jesus, but God was adding more to the plan He had for Larry Joe and the Ministry. That plan was about to unfold.
In 1999, Life Unlimited Food Ministry doors opened to the needy in Fort Worth, Texas and continues to reach out helping people in need today, even though Larry Joe was promoted to Heaven on March 9, 2017, the vision that Larry Joe had for helping those in need is still going strong under the direction of Linda and many team members. Lives are being changed weekly.
